  • Support for archival of studies to HSM style archives (such as the EMC DiskXtender software or Sun StorageTek QFS / SAM software) with the ability to function as a temporary cache or a standard archive. The rules engine can be used to determine which studies will be saved to the archive, and which can be deleted.

Conquest is a full featured DICOM server has been developed based on and heavily extending the public domain

The Conquest DICOM server offering storage, verification, query and retrieve with programmable SQL database tables. This user-programmable feature allows the MicroPACS to be custom tailored to a particular Clinical/Research area.

The server supports a wide range of databases with ODBC (Windows) or without (Windows/Linux), including DbaseIII, MySQL, Postgres and SqLite.

The Conquest DICOM software was written by Marcel van Herk and Lambert Zijp at the Netherlands Cancer Institute.We have decided to provide our extended DICOM software also to the public domain. Conquest is a full featured DICOM server has been developed based on and heavily extending the public domain UCDMC DICOM code developed by Mark Oskin when he was at the Medical Center of the University of California at Davis.
